Do you trust that the Universe will take care of you? It’s one thing to say it, but another to really, truly feel it in your gut. It’s something else entirely to truly believe it, with all of your heart, mind, and soul. When you really believe it, your actions will show it. No doubting. No second-guessing.

Try this mantra on for size:

I trust that the Universe will always meet my needs.

Say it out loud. How does it feel? Do you believe it?

Does this bring up something for you? Does it make you feel uncomfortable? If so, let’s explore those feelings of discomfort for a bit. What do you think it is that makes you feel uncomfortable? Does it seem too good to be true? Do you feel like you don’t deserve it? Are you waiting for “the other shoe to drop” or something to go wrong?

These feelings are usually a result of negative things that have happened to us before in our lives. They create patterns that we use later in life to help us predict what we think will happen. Patterns of negative consequences lead to negative thought processes.

You begin to expect the bad things to happen, because that’s how it’s always gone before.

But it doesn’t have to be that way.

Whatever you need, the Universe wants to give it to you. It’s all there for you — money, love, companionship, trust, security — all the things you desire.

The Universe doesn’t want to see you go without, or hurt for lack. The problem is, we get in our own way.

We self-sabotage.

We block.

We build walls.

We attract all of the things we DON’T want, instead of the things we DO want.

But all of that can change with some simple shifts in your thinking.

So, think for a moment today about what you need.

What do you REALLY need? See it in your mind. Think about how it feels, how it smells, and how it looks. Imagine yourself having what you need. How does it feel? Are you relieved? Are you fulfilled? Picture yourself in that very space where you have what you want and what you need. Imagine how it feels to be truly content.

Now, say it again: “I trust that the Universe will always meet my needs.”

Carry that with you today. Everything will be okay.
